About Me
Hey there, my name is Entropy/En, or at least that's what I go by online. Any pronouns are fine, I don't really get the concept of gender and I've decided that my gender is someone else's problem. I'm an artsist who mainly does watercolor illustrations and I have a passion for character design and concept art, though I am prone to dabbling in just about anything and everything vaguely creative. I adore alternative (primarily Japanese) fashion and a big goopy chunk of pastel goth/creepy cute aesthetics from the early 2010's is permanantly lodged into my fashion sense, probably because that's about when I started really getting into alt fashion, starting with lolita. I also enjoy goth/punk in general, whimsigoth, gurokawa, fairy kei. I also love fantasy RPGs and shounen anime, and I'll typically latch onto and obsess over a piece of media for a few years at a time, drawing fanart along the way.
A big special interest of mine is occult history/western esotericism, and I'm on a very long-term quest to become super knowledgable about this very niche topic that most people (especially those with bad experiences of religion in the super duper culturally Christian society what which I must live in) don't want to touch with a ten foot pole or hear about at all. I think that sometimes when I try to explain what I'm interested in to people, they assume interest = direct belief and that I must be a cultist, conspiracy theorist, or am a follower of New Age spirituality. It's none of the above for me, I'm a Jewish atheist, albeit one with a more religiously diverse family than the majority of people, and it's maybe given me a unique perspective on how culture, religion, and ideas of magic intertwine, affect each other, and develop over time. I'm in the process of getting a history degree (though I struggle to function in an academic environment because AuDHD is a bitch sometimes) and my wish is to be able to share what's so great about western esotericism with the rest of the world
This site is a repository of all things me: art, characters, and worlds I've created, my favorite media, inspirations, infodumps on things I'm passionate about, and anything else I find interesting or useful all shoved in one place. Feel free to peruse my digital collection.
Stamp Collection
Stamps I've collected to represent my interests, aesthetics, and general vibes. All of them link back to the original creators, or if those are lost to time, at least the people I found them from.
